That map is really great. It shows why Lake Michigan is the most dangerous of the five Great Lakes. You can see how the wind blows straight down it, and in turn that causes strong rip currents. Lake Michigan is infamous because of the number of drownings and shipwrecks.

They made a movie about the hazardous waters of Lake Michigan, The Surface (2014).  It only has a rating of 4.3 so it's probably not very good however. Unsure
